Small-town boy from the island 🇱🇰 with big dreams, chasing purpose through the beautiful mess of trying, failing, and trying again.
Trying to make something meaningful out of this brief, perfectly imperfect window we get to call life, before it all fades back into oblivion. When I’m not building, I’m lifting or playing some sport.
Tech Stack
Most of my work revolves around TypeScript and JavaScript technologies, with a growing focus on Applied AI through RAG, vector databases, and LLM fine-tuning. I’m particularly interested in distributed systems and system architecture, exploring how products can be designed not just to work, but to scale reliably as they grow.

Vehicle Claims File Management System
- Developed and maintained a centralised file management, tracking and storage system for the Vehicle Claims department.
- Built the backend features and database functionality in PHP and CodeIgniter.

Associate Software Engineer
Three years of full-stack product work, designing scalable REST APIs, implementing the business logic behind them, and building the responsive interfaces on top.
Key project
FieldSmart, Computerised Maintenance Management System
- Developed and maintained a CMMS platform covering assets, inventory, contracts, technicians and work orders.
- Built the frontend in Next.js and the backend services in NestJS, over a PostgreSQL schema of my own design.
- Contributed to a product in active use by leading organisations, including Nestlé Sri Lanka.

An intensive three-month apprenticeship under industry professionals, on designing, deploying and scaling production-ready AI systems.
Key project
PII Redaction Chatbot
- Designed and deployed a chatbot that identifies and redacts personally identifiable information from user-provided content.
- Served the Qwen3 4B model with vLLM, tuned for inference throughput.
